Does this feed contain the same blend of fibre and same level of energy as Hi-Fi Original?
Hi-Fi Original with Apple has the same fibre blend, with pellets included for added interest. It also has the same 8 MJ/kg energy level, which is perfect for horses and ponies in light work or at rest.
What kind of horse might prefer this feed to standard Hi-Fi Original?
The tasty apple flavour and added pellets encourage fussy feeders to eat up their feed.
Can it be fed in the same way as Hi-Fi Original?
Hi-Fi Original with Apple can be fed as the fibre/chaff ration to a bucket feed or as a partial hay replacer, as can Hi-Fi Original.
How is the apple included in the feed? Does this limit the product’s shelf life?
The apple is included as a flavouring and has no impact on the product’s shelf life. Both Hi-Fi with Apple and Hi-Fi Original have a shelf life of eight months.
Does the apple content have any additional benefits?
Although there are no additional benefits from the apple flavouring, horses and ponies do tend to like apples, so, hopefully, it will continue to tempt those fussy feeders!
