Keyflow (UK) Ltd was officially founded in January 2012 but the idea was there long before. As science has developed, technological advances in feed ingredient production and processing have occurred. Alongside this, equine nutritionists have learned so much about the way horses digest food, and the effects that different ingredients and their components have on a horses body.
Keyflow was born to create a better horse feed. They use and embrace the latest feed technologies, and use the best ingredients available. Keyflow are teamed with some of the world’s most respected Equine Nutritionists, who are at the forefront of research into what a horse needs nutritionally to be healthy and happy, grow optimally, behave sensibly and perform outstandingly. Dr Ray Biffin is highly respected worldwide. His research has revolutionized the way horses are fed in Australasia, and along with his team, he continues to develop products that directly benefit our horses and their wellbeing. Dr Catherine Dunnett is an independent nutritionist highly respected throughout Great Britain and Europe, and together with Dr Biffin, has ensured that Keyflow feeds are the very best they can be.
Who better to judge these feeds than our Key Riders. Mark Todd, John Whitaker and Michael Whitaker were all looking for something else. They have been involved from the start and have given input every step of the way. They know exactly how a horse should look, feel, and perform, and they also know how important the right feed is, and how influential the right (or wrong) feed can be when it comes to competition time. They will only put their name next to something they truly believe in, and they only believe in something they know will work.
Together, they are Keyflow, and are redefining equine nutrition. Our use and relationship with horses has evolved, and so has their nutritional requirements.
