Mollichaff Alfalfa Oil contains an energy level that is similar to that of a medium energy hard feed and is ideal for horses and ponies that require increased condition or energy. Because Mollichaff Alfalfa Oil is high in fibre and ‘slow-release’ energy and low in sugar and starch, it offers a far more natural feed to replace cereals in the diet without causing fizziness or excitability. Alfalfa is naturally low in sugars, making Mollichaff Alfalfa Oil suitable for all horses and ponies. This product carries the ‘HoofKind’ logo to show that it is safe to feed to laminitics. The high palatability of Mollichaff Alfalfa Oil makes it suitable for fussy feeders. Alfalfa is a good source of natural vitamins and minerals. Mollichaff Alfalfa Oil contains the nutrient-rich leaf as well as the stalk of the plant and is dust-extracted.
