Chestnut Sensitive Performance is a complete and balanced feed that has been specifically formulated for those horses and ponies that require a low starch and sugar diet such as such as laminitis, EMS or PPID / Cushing’s Disease, whilst maintaining suitable levels of slow-release energy and condition in order to effectively perform their work.

It contains a carefully selected blend of fibres, including ‘superfibres’, that are highly digestible . These fibres also contain high levels of pectin (a soluble fibre), which, in acidic conditions (like those in the stomach) alters its structure to create an additional layer of protection in the stomach, helping to safe-guard against acid attack which can lead to painful and damaging cases of EGUS (Equine Gastric Ulcer Syndrome).

Biotin is also included to support keratin production, promote hoof health and complement the fully balanced nutritional profile.
