As a healthy respiratory system is vital for any racehorse, SPILLERS® HDF® Power Feeds contain respiratory support nutrients, proven in published research to help support the horse’s own lung defences. High levels of antioxidants in feed are of particular importance to racehorses as high levels of training increases the risk of muscle damage and infections. SPILLERS® HDF® Power Feeds are therefore high in Vitamin E. When feeding SPILLERS® HDF® Power Feeds, no further Vitamin E supplementation will be required.
B Vitamins are well known to support appetite, particularly important for horses in intensive training. Research has shown Vitamin B production by racehorses may be reduced so SPILLERS® HDF® Power Feeds contain a full complement of B Vitamins (including B1, B12 and folic acid).
